Three- and Four for the Blues

Biographie

The swingcombo FOUR FOR THE BLUES plays popular jazz compositions and pearls from music history. The repertoire contains swing standards, bossa nova, ballads, blues and soul.

The leadsinger of the band is JANET DAWKINS from London. She is known for her warm and souly voice. JANET DAWKINS has sung with Switzerlands famous Big Band Pepe Lienhard and many other international artists.

The band appears as a quartet FOUR FOR THE BLUES with vocals, piano, bass/sax and drums. As a trio THREE FOR THE BLUES, the band plays without drums, which gives the music a more discreet and transparent sound.

Occasionally the band appears also with the guest singers HENRIETTA KINNOB (DK) or SHARON HARRIS (USA) and various guest musicians, which make the performance of the Band colourful and eventful.
